Managing a growing list of candidates can quickly become overwhelming. To help you stay organized, ATZ CRM offers a feature called Focus Groups — think of them as folders where you can group candidates based on specific needs. In this article, we’ll explain how focus groups work, how to create and assign candidates to them, and the actions you can perform within focus groups.
What Are Focus Groups?
Focus Groups in ATZ CRM are like categorized folders where you can place specific candidates together.
They allow you to manage, organize, and track candidates more efficiently. Whether you want to group candidates by role, source, or hiring stage, focus groups make it easy to stay structured.
How to Create a Focus Group
Creating a focus group is straightforward:
1. Click on the candidate list

2. Click the Three Dots Icon
On the top-right corner of your screen, click on the three dots (...) to open more options.
3. Select "Add New Focus Group"
From the dropdown menu, click on "Add New Focus Group."
4. Fill in Group Details
Enter the basic details such as:
Name of the focus group
Description (optional)
5. (Optional) Share with Teammates
You can choose to share the focus group with your teammates — meaning the other ATZ CRM users in your account.

Once done, save the group and start organizing candidates right away!
How to Assign Candidates to a Focus Group
You have two ways to assign candidates into a focus group:
1. Bulk Selection
Select multiple candidates from the candidate list.
Click on Add to Focus Group and choose the focus group where you want to add them

2. Detail Page Assignment
Open an individual candidate’s detailed profile page.
In the focus group section, you can either:
- Add them to an existing group,
Create a new focus group directly and assign the candidate.

Editing and Deleting Focus Groups
Editing Focus Groups:
You can edit a focus group's name, description, and members both from the list view and from a candidate’s detail page.
Deleting Focus Groups:
Focus groups can be deleted only from the list view.
Important: Deleting a focus group does not delete the candidates; it only removes the grouping.
Unassigning Candidates from a Focus Group
( Works only in candidate detail page )
If you want to remove a candidate from a specific focus group:
Click on the Remove button next to the Focus Group Name within the focus group tab.
This action will only remove the candidate from that focus group — it won't delete the candidate’s profile from the CRM.
