Matching the right candidate to the right job is crucial but doing it manually with hundreds or thousands of profiles? Nearly impossible. That’s where AI-powered candidate matching in ATZ CRM comes into play. In this blog, we’ll walk you through how this powerful feature works, how it benefits recruiters, and how to make the most of it–step by step.
Understanding What AI Matching Is
ATZ CRM uses AI Matching to help recruiters identify the most relevant candidates for a job or similar candidates. But this isn’t your average keyword-based matching. It goes beyond surface-level filters.
Context-aware Matching:
Instead of just checking for exact words, ATZ CRM understands the context. For example, if a candidate is listed as an “Engineering Manager – SEO group,” the system won’t just match them to other engineering roles. It’ll also consider SEO and related expertise.
Step 1: Matching Candidates from a Candidate’s Profile
Have a strong candidate profile and want to find similar ones? Here’s how:
Open a candidate's profile inside ATZ CRM.
Click on the “Find AI Matchings” button.
If the candidate’s resume is uploaded, the AI matching becomes even more accurate.
The system compares the resume content with the rest of the database.
It shows the top 50 most similar candidates.
Step 2: Matching Candidates from a Job Description
Have a job role and want to find the right candidates for it? Here’s what to do:
Navigate to the job profile in ATZ CRM (e.g., "Content Writer").
Ensure you’ve added a detailed job description.
Click the “Find Matching Candidates” button.
Why does this matter?
The job description feeds the AI with context.
More details = better results.
You get the top 50 matched candidates from your full database.
Step 3: Matching from the Existing Pipeline Only
Sometimes, recruiters don’t want to search across the whole database—they want to rank only the candidates already assigned to a job. Here’s how:
Go to the job profile.
Toggle the option “Match from existing pipeline”.
The AI will re-rank only the candidates already associated with that job.
Ideal for large pipelines (e.g., 300+ candidates assigned to a job) where recruiters want to prioritize top fits.
