Importing data in bulk is essential for organizations and recruitment teams managing high volumes of organization and contact information. ATZ CRM provides a simple and efficient way to import both organization and contact data using CSV or Excel sheets.
This guide outlines the steps required to successfully import your data, ensuring proper field mapping and avoiding duplicates.
Overview
ATZ CRM allows importing of:
Organizations, with required fields such as organization name.
Contacts, which must be associated with an organization and include basic contact details.
Step 1: Importing Organization Data
Required Columns
Organization Name (mandatory)
Instructions
Navigate to Import > CSV/XLS within ATZ CRM.
Select your organization data file (CSV or Excel).
Map your sheet columns to ATZ CRM fields:
For example, map “Company Name” → Organization Name
Map “Website” → Organization Website
The Organization Name field must be mapped to proceed.
Choose whether to:
Merge duplicates based on exact matches (name, website, LinkedIn URL)
Overwrite existing data in case of a merge
Specify whether the first row in your file contains headers or actual data.
Click Import to start the process.
Post-Import
You will receive an email confirmation when the import is complete. This email will include a link to preview the imported organizations in your CRM.
Step 2: Importing Contact Data
Required Columns
First Name (mandatory)
Organization Name (mandatory)
Instructions
Go to Import > CSV/XLS in ATZ CRM.
Upload your contact sheet file.
Map the following fields:
“First Name” → Contact First Name
“Last Name” → Contact Last Name
“Email” → Contact Email
“Organization Name” → Organization Name
Both First Name and Organization Name are required to proceed.
Choose merge and overwrite options as needed.
Indicate whether the first row contains column headers or data.
Click Import.
Post-Import
Once the import is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email with access to view your newly imported contacts. All contacts will automatically be linked to their respective organizations.
