Boolean Search In ATZ CRM

Boolean search enables you to use advanced search operators such as AND, OR, and NOT to refine your search results. This is particularly useful when searching for specific records in resumes, notes, or other fields. It helps you find exactly what you need in a faster and more efficient way.

Steps to Use Boolean Search:

Step 1: Select the Boolean Search on the Top

  • You can use Boolean search for the following entities:

    • Candidate

    • Contact

    • Organisation

    • Deals

    • Jobs

Step 2: Enter Your Search Query

  • In this step, you can use the following operators to refine your search:

  • AND: The AND operator is applied by default when you press enter after adding a keyword. This means the system will automatically show results that must include both search terms. For example, if you search for "Rishita” , “Student", the results will only show records that include both "Rishita" and "Student".

  • OR: Use "OR" to find records that include either one search term or the other. For example, if you search for "Student OR Teacher", it will show results that contain either "Student" or "Teacher".

  • NOT: Use "NOT" to exclude records that contain a certain search term. For example, if you search for "senior NOT student", it will show results for "Senior" but exclude anything with "Student".

  • Note: When you click on Search in Notes, your query will specifically refer to and be valid only within the Notes section. This means that it will search for your Boolean terms only within the notes related to candidates, contacts, or other entities you are reviewing.

Step 3: Click on Apply Filters

  • Once you've entered your search query with the desired operators, click on the Apply Filters button to run the search.

Step 4: Review the Results Displayed Based on Your Query

  • Review the refined search results that match your query, ensuring you have the most relevant and accurate data.
