Customizing activity types in ATZ CRM allows you to tailor your workflow, ensuring tasks, meetings, and events are categorized effectively. This feature helps streamline processes, save time, and maintain consistency across candidate interactions and job-related activities. This guide will show you how to create, update, and delete custom activity types to optimize your CRM for your specific needs.


Creating a Custom Activity Type in ATZ CRM


  1. Navigate to Activity Type Customization:

    • From the main dashboard, find the Settings section.



  • Under Settings, locate and click on Activity Type Customization.



  1. Create a New Custom Activity Type:

    • Click on the Add New Activity Type button.



  • A pop-up form will appear where you can enter the name of the custom activity type (e.g., "Custom Interview", "Follow-up Call").

  • Save the new activity type once you're done.



  1. Set Default Activity Type (Optional):

    • You can choose to set this custom activity type as the default.

    • Check the box labeled Set as Default.


Updating a Custom Activity Type in ATZ CRM


  1. Find the Custom Activity Type:

    • Navigate back to the Activity Type Customization section.

    • Locate the custom activity type you want to update from the list.



  1. Edit the Activity Type:

    • Click on the Edit button next to the activity type you want to update.



  • Change the name of the activity type as needed.

  • Click Save Changes when you’re finished.



Deleting a Custom Activity Type in ATZ CRM


  1. Navigate to the Activity Type List:

    • In the Activity Type Customization section, find the activity type you want to delete.

  2. Delete the Activity Type:

    • Click on the Delete button next to the activity type you want to remove.

    • Note: The default selected activity type cannot be deleted.




  • Confirm the deletion when prompted.

  1. Note: Deleting a custom activity type will remove it from your list, and it can no longer be assigned to activities.



How to Use Custom Activity Types in ATZ CRM?


  1. Create an Activity with a Custom Type:

    • When creating a new activity, you’ll see the Activity Type dropdown.

    • Select your newly created custom activity type from the list.



  1. Add Event Details:

    • Fill in the rest of the event details (date, time, attendees, etc.) and save the activity.

    • The custom activity type will now appear in your activity list for future reference.
