This report enables you to track the average duration of the recruitment process across various job openings.

The Hiring Velocity Report calculates the period from when a job is posted to when the first candidate is placed, as well as the average time to hire for all placements for that job. Additionally, it measures the average time spent in each stage of your recruitment pipeline.

These insights allow you to assess the hiring duration for individual jobs, compare hiring timelines across different roles, and evaluate how long candidates remain in each recruitment stage.

How to Create a Report

Once in the Hiring Velocity Report, follow these steps to generate a report:

  1. Select the Jobs you want to analyze. You can use the "Search" feature to filter and choose relevant jobs.

  2. Pick the Hiring Stage you wish to evaluate.

  3. After selecting jobs and the hiring stage, click "Generate Report."

The generated report displays the "average time spent in each hiring stage" for the selected jobs. You can export the accompanying graph for further use.

How Metrics Are Calculated

The Time to Hire Summary uses two key metrics:

  1. Time for the First Candidate to Reach a Stage
Calculation: Date the candidate reached the specific Hiring Stage (Stage Date) - Date the job was created.

  2. Average Time for All Candidates to Reach a Stage
Calculation: Total time taken / Number of candidates in that Hiring Stage.
Total Time = [Stage Date of first candidate - Job Creation Date] + [Stage Date of second candidate - Job Creation Date] + ... for all candidates.

We hope this guide enhances your use of the Hiring Velocity Report! ?
